If you read today's Pledge of Allegiance and Constitution, a lot of religion, especially Catholicism/Christianity is "read between the lines." That's because religion has had a significant impact on the building and foundation of the United States of America. Unfortunately, in the case of this article, religion was the last thing to cross the minds of devout and faithful men. One thing that slowly crossed my own mind as I read was the fact that yes, this country was based on religion but why did we found it on that? Then later why did we create a separation?
What really irks me is the fact that these people called themselves Christians and then later committed these crimes. We don't do things like that. We've had our names bashed and used and it's really about time people stopped (although it's not likely.) There are those who have grown up in the church and lived their whole lives doing good deeds but that doesn't make them Christians. It's about accepting Christ as your Saviour and really believing that. What happened with this, that's not it...
