Obama Rallies Democrats in Final Push for Health Bill

Tomorrow will be a significant day for president Obama because the vote on the health care bill will occur. After a year of preparing this bill congress will vote on it tomorrow. However the controversial sections of the bill, such as abortion have caused many people to not support the bill. The bill proposes that tax payer money will go to the funding of abortions. Many republicans are passionate about the bill not getting through and have confidence that it will not pass. House Republican leader John A. Boehner of Ohio, said the Republicans could still prevail. “The American people are making their voices heard, here on Capitol Hill and across America,” he said. “It’s time for Washington Democrats to listen.”On the other hand speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi believes that regardless of the controversial subject in the bill, the bill will still pass. She is confident enough about the bill that she has not made adjustment to the abortion section to gain the votes of more congressmen.

The health care bill will now grant affordable quality health care to all Americans. Today many individuals do not even have health care because of the sky high prices. Insurance companies have essentially become monopolies and will finally be stopped with this bill. Health benefits will not be slashed anymore because now Americans will be entitled to an affordable insurance.
Also, the bill is said to decrease the federal deficit by $198 million over the next ten years. The passage of the bill will benefit the nation greatly. Perhaps this new health care bill will allow more jobs to open up and at the same time decrease the high unemployment rate.
