It is no longer the Straight Talk Express, but is the NO Talk Express.
The media is an integral part of American politics. Today’s quick-paced world doesn’t stop for “boring” things like elections, so it’s the media’s job to bring the news to the busy people. Unfortunately, the media is riddled with biased reporting, and the American population must decipher what is true and what is pure opinion. Since most citizens are politically inexperienced, their views are greatly influenced by the media.
Where am I heading?
Since many sources on television have liberal slants, Republicans always struggle to reach out to the American people and show them conservative principles. McCain and Palin, however, are different. The media swarms around them in constant curiosity, and yet, they still refuse to speak with national reporters. The media is considerably frustrated with the lack of cooperation from the GOP ticket. It would make sense if McCain tried to shove Obama from the glow of the spotlight in order to talk about his political agenda for a change.
But he isn’t talking.
One reporter bluntly asked McCain if his bus has become “The No Talk Express.” Maybe there is something hidden beneath his silent smirk…maybe there is a reason why McCain isn’t talking. The question is why would McCain ruin his reputation in the media and thus ruin his chances in the upcoming election?
If the media is angry with McCain, then it will subtly attack him. Politically inexperienced citizens will side with Obama because the media will [obviously] favor him.
Even the article I used for this blog is liberal-based. The article exudes scorn for McCain and praise for the media and Obama.

You can see how Stein tries to paint an innocent picture of the Obama party through his choice of words like 'accused' and 'simply.'
McCain must befriend the media. If he does not, his campaign will suffer tremendously.
