Initial Entry

Hi Everyone,

This blog is the one we are going to use in Government class this year to keep track of the major news and media stories throughout the year. Each person is required to make at least one post per month and a calender will be forthcoming. With each post I expect three things:

1. A link to the original story that you are commenting on. Make sure it is from a reputable news website or political blog. There are limits to this so make sure you check the approved list of news agencies.

2. A Photo or some sort of picture that you can add to support your blog entry. It could be a picture from the website or something relevant to the entry.

3. Your analysis of the story. What kinds of political concepts do you see in the news story? Bring something from the class into your analysis. What was the political slant of the story? Liberal? Conservative? Other wise? How can you tell? What did you feel was missing in the story if anything was?
