Gregory B. Craig faces big controversies over the decisions to close down the prison on Guantanamo Bay, located in Cube. Even though our government is broken down and power does not lie solely on one person, this decision had gone through many of America's top politicians. Mr. Craig is blamed solely for this final decision and may be leaving the White House as early as the end of this year die to these accusations. Although, his political involvements in the past question if he holds America's secrets and if he is trying to cover them up. During the Clinton administration Mr. Craig worked as an advisor to fight off impeachment even though, Bill Clinton would later admit to the accusations. But I doubt he supported this decision to close this prison with out some reasonable explanation. He was a main component in exposing the dangerous interrogation techniques and revising them. No photos were released to the media and he protected the interrogators identities. Mr. Craig may be covering up and protecting the American government, but what consequences will come from closing this prison? It seems like this folder containing the governments mistreatment of prisoners(invading their Natural Rights) is quickly being stored away. What other secrets have the government hid from the public's knowledge? If these secrets are revealed, America may find itself in danger during these tough economic times.
