The House of Democratic Leaders are ready to show their new public option for the Health Care Bill as soon as Thursday. This versions allows Doctors to negotiate reimbursement rates with the government but, Nancy Pelosi wants a more "robust" versions one that " ties reimbursement rates for providers and hospitals to Medicare rates plus a five percent increase". However, this idea did not get many votes, the newer version has more success which is supported by the Democratic side. This bill will be unveiling on Thursday on the West Front of the Capitol, it is labeled as the "Health Care Insurance Reform Event".
The last remaining issue that still has not been set is the abortion language. Representative Bart Stupak wants to clarify that federal money will not be used to pay for abortions under the new health care bill. he said that if there is not a vote on this issue her has forty anti-abortion Democrats ready to block the bill form getting to the house floor. This issue has yet to still be decided upon.
