Overhaulin'?

Obama's plan to do an "immigration overhaul" by the beginning months of the 2010 is claimed to still be on the agenda, despite the other important issues he has to face such as the healthcare bill, and alternative energy sources. Ms. Napolitano, the Homeland Security Secrety, says that it will definitely be an issue brought up and addressed by 2010 despite the other pressing issues the nation needs to face; despite this people are still skeptical as to whether president Obama will keep to his agenda and really address immigration by 2010. When and if Obama adresses the immigration issue it is going to include "enacting tougher enforcement laws against illegal immigrants and the people who hire them, and streamlining the system for legal immigration," as Napolitano said, also calling it the "three-legged stool" of immigration.
When action is taken the Obama administration is planning on also giving 12 million illegal immigrants legal status. When this happens I wonder what is going to happen to things like the healthcare coverage. The figures now are to give healthcare to everyone, but were these 12million extra individuals added into this figure? Will we really be able to cover all of them without sending us into a deficit? Along with this, how are they planning to enforce all of these new changes they plan to make? Wanting to tax, fine, register, and do background checks on all illegal immigrants is a hefty job to take on, will that ever be fully accomplished?
